The hotel’s grand mansion was built around 1880 and is characteristic of the beautiful architecture that adorns Potsdam. The new building was built in 1996. The hotel houses 6 function rooms, suitable for meetings and conferences, ranging in size from 22 m² to 244 m². The hotel’s wellness centre can arrange massages on request. All the hotel’s rooms have appropriately Prussian decor, with sandy yellow and royal blue fabrics, striped furniture in similar colours and large windows.

The hotel’s Hofgarten restaurant, adorned with murals, serves a continental buffet breakfast from 06:00 to 10:00. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, serving modern cuisine, including vegetarian dishes, in a stylishly lit room around an open kitchen. Last food orders are taken at 22:00. Karree, the hotel bar, serves a wide range of drinks and light snacks from 18:00 until 02:00. In the summer, an outdoor bar/café is set up on the hotel’s terrace. Dutch Quarter (200 m) – in the early eighteenth century 150 houses were built out of red brick in Dutch style to accommodate Dutch craftsmen. Today the Dutch quarter is one of Potsdam’s most visited districts. Entrance to Park Sanssouci (1.8 km) – don’t miss the Chinese House in this beautifully landscaped park. From Berlin Tegel (TXL) airport: Take the S25 S-Bahn line towards Teltow Stadt. Alight at Friedrichstrasse. Take the RE1 regional bahn towards Magdeburg. Alight at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (central station). From Potsdam central train station: By taxi the journey, of around 1km, will cost about EUR 6. The hotel has 40 parking places (EUR 12 per night).
